Why Study English at ASTAR?

Astar’s English Language and American Culture Programs are designed to immerse participants in English through class instruction, after-class tutoring, and language exchange with native English speakers. We also offer optional American cultural electives and U.S. travel opportunities. Accelerated teaching methods allow participants at lower proficiency levels to acquire the language skills needed for effective communication in a short period of time, and advanced students to gain communicative proficiency at a more sophisticated level.

Astar’s English Language programs integrate all aspects of the language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics, and vocabulary. Topics studied include everyday situations and American culture, society, and history.
