Class work focuses on developing oral expression, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. The material is thematic and authentic. Astar teachers use both text books and fictional and non-fictional literature to help you acquire English with a more natural approach. Up-to-date materials are used to introduce modern day America, its social and economic life, culture, history, and literature. After-class Tutoring A unique feature of Astar¡¯s language programs is the provision of free after-class tutoring for extra language coaching, homework assistance, and conversational practice. Tutoring has proven effective in advancing students' linguistics skills. Language Exchange Partners Program Getting acquainted with locals is an integral part of the program. It provides language and cultural interaction between participants and American people, marking the beginning of many lasting friendships. This program provides the perfect opportunity to practice the language and encourages cultural and social exchange. Participants schedule to meet with one another at their convenience. Citizenship Class Astar's citizenship classes offer an international student the ability to more fully integrate themselves into US society and to help facilitate the citizenship process. |
