This means you can schedule your exam to be proctored at our location in Manassas, Virginia. We provide an ethical, comfortable & distraction-free setting with updated technology for all your exam needs. For all testing accommodation requests, please inform your exam sponsor so you can be scheduled in one of our accommodation-approved, single rooms.

Skills Lab Practice For Certified Medication Aide's (CMA)
All students are welcome to practice their skills for a healthcare-based, state licensing exam in Astar’s state-of-the-art skills simulation lab. This is a great way to refresh skills you may have forgotten or haven't used in awhile! The Skills Lab is fully equipped for the sole purpose of training nurses for their future careers. The Skills Lab has hospital beds, stethoscopes, hospital gowns, blood pressure cuffs, syringes, catheters, a practice dummy, and many, many other clinical tools and supplies necessary to train nurses in a practical environment. Have you ever wanted access to a facility for the purpose of practicing your future occupation? If the answer is “yes”, then the Astar Testing Center Skills Lab is perfect for you!
Astar students are allowed to schedule practice hours for free and students from other programs must pay an hourly fee to cover equipment costs. A minimum of 2-hours must be reserved at one time for students who are not enrolled in Astar’s programs.
For non-Astar students, the rate is $25/hour. This means the rate is $50/2 hours and $100 for 4 hours.
